I'm a tarot café whore.
Feeling like I just woke up two and a half hours ago, which is really sad because it's true.
Listening to "I Feel Love" - Mauro Picotto (I've been dying to know what this song was for a very long time now... x.x;)
Currently addicted to tarot café, axel's green hair (XD), thinking about drawing my AC animal villagers as humans, generic cola...XD
Currently irritated by this itch that won't go away, the fact that I now can't sleep until 6am
Current MSN details: Basti, das Whore! Ah-ah-ah!
Today's Cards: haven't done a reading in so long, but I'll need to with school coming up...
I woke up at goddamn 1500 today. Isn't that pathetic? I could NOT sleep until the sun came up. Oh gods! I'm turning into a vampire, aaaieeeeee!!! [laughs] But seriously, this sucks because my classes this semester are early in the morning. I don't know if I'll be able to adjust. Perhaps I'll pull all-nighters and sleep when I get home...? I don't know if I could. I'm turning nocturnal and I don't know if that's necessarily good, no matter how much I like nighttime.
All right--I need to rant like a fangirl about Tarot Café, you guys. Skip this next part unless you're seriously bored, or a Tarot Café fan who's read through all the four volumes so far. Also skip if you intend to read it and don't want anything (mildly or perhaps not so mildly) spoiled for you. For that reason, I'll make it so that you have to highlight the next (very long, sorry) section.
And so I'm done with my TC theories...sorry about that. [laughs] Perhaps I'm looking far too closely, reading too much into nothing. But you never know, eh? I just had to let this out before it consumed me. I can't wait for volume five...I'm dying to know how this all turns out. Soooooo good. x.x
In school news, I thought school was on the 15th but then I realized that was a Sunday. [laughs] Apparently school starts (for me) on the 17th. I've seriously lost track of days. Damn my lack of...2006 calendar!!!
I think that's it for this evening. X3

I've been desperately waiting for Tarot Café volume five...I really want to know, mainly: what the hell's up with Belus? Not just because he's my favourite, but I mean, anyone who's read TC knows something's seriously fucked up with him. What's his connection to Ash, and to Nebiros? And what's the real deal with Nebiros, anyway? We barely saw anything of him, except for his relationship with the ever-adorable Aaron, and his weird breakdown of sorts (with some mention of a curse). At the end of that chapter, Belus lies to Pamela when she suggests a connection between him and the castle-dweller, and then visits Nebiros, telling him to "remember who you are." You can't help but wonder what that was all about.
But more importantly, I want to know if there is a connection between Belus and Berial--I sometimes get the vibe they're related...or even the same person. o.o Berial is noted as "The Prince of Deceit and Falsehood," and Belus calls himself "The Prince of Pandemonium." Also, why the hell does Belus want the beads of Berial's Necklace, anyway? Berial's face is NEVER shown, as of yet. This leads me to believe he's a familiar face, even if he's not Belus.
Another thing I noticed--a bit surreptitious/obscure too--is something that seriously made me gasp in wonder. In vol. 2, in the 1232 AD flashback featuring the fate of Pamela's mother, a cloaked figure appears out of nowhere, asking her mother if she wants to save young Pamela's life. After the stranger gives a...laugh (which is VERY Belus), the mother asks very seriously, "Are you the devil?"
The cloaked figure replies, "What difference does it make?"
Pamela's mother then agrees to a contract with him, and a short while later is burned at the stake (for supposed witchcraft) though Pamela is spared and a mysterious (and sinister, if I do say so myself) old priest sets her free in the forest.
Then, in vol. 4, when Pamela is sentenced to a water burial, and is surprised to find she cannot drown (because of the dragon mark she got when Ash died), Belus introduces himself and gets her out of a rather tight situation. So when Belus explains all this to Pamela, and he offers her death (because she wants it so badly), she asks, "Are you Satan?"
Belus, with a very evil look on his face, replies...yes, you guessed it:
"What difference does it make?"
And then binds Pamela to a contract, just as the cloaked figure did with her mother, which starts Pamela's quest for the beads of Berial's broken necklace. A side note: is Belus really Satan? EVERYONE calls him the devil, or Satan, so it really does get you wondering. after a while. Who is Belus?
