oh fine, christmas: you cool, homie.

Mood: Rapey
Listening to Bad Communication - B'z; Rollergirl - Apoptygma Berzerk; Kyomu No Naka De No Yuugi - Malice Mizer
Reading Nature's Resurrection: A Christmas Spectacular!!!
Playing Luigi's Mansion. Aww, such a cute game!

So...! Starting from when I opened Adrienne's present (early; I swear I was going to wait!), my christmas got a lot nicer. [cries over the letter again] Mmm, she even drew me the sexiest man...! And he's all texturey and pretty-shade-y and beautiful. Oh my god, it's wonderful. <3 She got me The Ladies of Grace Adieu, by Susanna Clarke, which is related to Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. I can't wait to read it but she says I have to wait until christmas. [laughs] I guess I'll just have to be a patient uke...! <3

(and a cheap uke. [sobs, miserably and poorly])

Just now I read Azrael's christmas-themed story based on our RP over at MUU...and it's fucking GREAT! You ought to read it but I doubt you will! Too bad for you! Even though you don't really know about the RP, it's a lot of fun and doesn't require much background, or any at all. It's brilliant. He captured my characters (Furian and Liyun) so well, and everyone else's too. It's so much fun. D:

Nature's Resurrection: A Christmas Spectacular

Yay, hopefully actual christmas doesn't turn out as bad as I thought it would. ^^

My mother has expressed disappointment that I haven't chosen enough Christmas presents for myself. I guess that I'm doing the right thing--I need to focus on the birth of Jesus Christ. Besides, my gaming days are basically over and I'm not much into music anymore either. I'm focusing on developing my writing and drawing as well as the path to the monastic life.

Anyway, I have mostly books lined up for Christmas. Among others, I have a book of novellas by Leo Tolstoy, an anthology of American short stories, Gabriel Marquez' One Hundred Years of Solitude, and a CD set of Wuthering Heights. Yes, I'm seeking to read a variety of classic works to help train my writing--am I making sense?

Speaking of writing, be on the lookout for the first few chapters of the Alpha Draft of my major novel, Light from the East

@ Elysa:
Oh whatever, at least Adrienne doesn't play Breastsweeper...! [laughs] *3* But grr. [blushes and runs away] >.<;;

Yours isn't ruined! Not yet...! [cries] Why don't you take your own advice...! STAY POSITIVE! [laughs] Listen to batman. He knows. [nods, pats]

I don't mind if it's late. I'd rather you didn't get me anything, but I know I can't convince anyone to not buy me anything. Maaaan, I wanna buy you something but I have no money. This blows. ><

@ Brian:
Well, that's good...you could always ask for things like writing materials, or books about creative writing. Books work, in general. [nods]

I'm not a big literature fan, but I like to read fun things that are well-written and easy to read. I like to write in an easy way, too...it's more accessible to more readers, I suppose you can say.

I ramble...!

Heeey, don't have conversations about me where I can see..! No, wait....do.
I play Breastsweeper all the time..! Is that like Minesweeper? God, I hate that game. D:

Well, I'm happy you like your present. [laughs] Nothing to cry over, though...[pets you] And it's not wonderful! D: It's just slightly well pencilled..!
And so you waited until christmas..! And so you didn't want to read it. [laughs] Oh, well. You'll have something to read when your video games get old. D:

[sad she didn't get to buy you baten kaitos]
[seriously]
[laughs]....[sadly] :\
[then cries]

Yes, it's some...inside joke about Minesweeper and revealing breasts every time--oh, never mind. [laughs] Minesweeper is just...frustrating. And all you get when you win is some damn smiley with shades. D:

Yes, I do like my present! I just can't concentrate on reading it. [laughs] What's wrong with crying over your letter?! It was sweet. D:

Why would you be sad?! You saved money...! [laughs] I want to buy you sooooomething. You must be so angry. D: I don't blame you! [cries on you]

the prince of mansmut said...

Yes, I figured. Don't worry..! I won't pry into your inside jokes! [points] D:

I don't care about the price! As long as it's under $50. I just really wanted to buy you that for some reason. D: And get randomly depressed that I didn't get to. :\
And I'm not angry. [laughs] I don't even think about it. Don't woooorry. [pets]

Just doesn't seem like anything to cry about! But I'm glad it made you happy. [pets you]

Why didn't I reply to this one? D:

Anyway...! Well, I'm sorry, but I don't want you to buy things for me because it isn't faaaaair. D:

Well, I guess I cry over everything. :\

the prince of mansmut said...

I was wondering the same thing. "Heeey, what's wrong with this comment..?!"

It's faaiiir. And I'm getting you something for Valentine's Day! Oh ho ho ho! [laughs] Nothing nice or romantic, though. Just...something.
So get used to it. D:

Yeah, I guess you do. :\
But that's cute. [laughs, kisses you]
